Policies

Cancellation

               If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before your scheduled time, there will be a $25 cancellation fee to be paid before your next appointment. You will also have to wait until your next scheduled appointment time unless something else becomes available. This does not change your next appointment. If you cancel last minute 3 times in a 12-month period, you will be removed from the schedule.

No Show

               If we show up for your appointment and no one is home or does not answer the door or messages this is a no show. You will be subject to the full price of the groom for giving no notice. It must be paid before you next appointment.

Delayed

               If you are unavailable when we arrive or when the grooming is done and have left no way for us to put your dog inside and be able to be paid, there will be a $25 fee for making me late to my next appointment. We are on a very tight schedule and want to make sure everyone is taken care of.

Vaccines

               All vaccines which include Rabies must be current, and a copy must be made for our records. This is to protect your pets as well as others. We make every effort to keep things sanitized but we may miss something. If for any reason your pet can not receive vaccines due to allergies, illness or age a copy of a letter from your vet stating this will be accepted.

Fleas

You are responsible for flea control. Flea infestation does happen from time to time but if it becomes a reoccurring problem then future service will be cancelled.

Scheduling

               The schedule will be made a year at a time to be mailed out by the end of October to beginning of November. You can be on a 4 or 8-week recurring schedule. If you don't want to be on a recurring schedule then no guarantees will be made for a spot later.

Emergencies

            In the unlikely event of an emergency occurring with your pet and you are unavailable we will be taking your pet to the closest vet that I trust. Every effort will be made to reach you or your emergency contact.

Latch Key

              We offer a latch key service for those who can’t be at home at appointment time on a regular basis due to work, school, etc. A key or code will need to be provided. This service does include a potty break for your pet as well.

Pet availability

             Pet(s) must be ready and brought to the door upon arrival if you are home. If you are not home, they must be in a small room or kennel. If your pet is not readily available, you may be subject to the cancellation fee.

Mat Removal

Removing heavily matted coat includes risk to your pet. These risks include but are not limited to nicks, cuts and abrasions during the removal process. Also during the removal process unknown injures, sores and infection can be reviled that need medical attention. Once a coat has been shaved the pet then become at risk of sun burn and self inflected injuries and some pet’s behavior changes immediately after. Some pets coat will not grow back in properly after being shaved. I will not hold Fluffin' Right responsible if any of this should occur.
